We do need your input and the value of our service and your reporting is down to you the client taking these reports and acting on them. We're doing our bit, now it is your turn.
So what is available, basically, anything - if you're not getting a report - please request one. If you are getting a report but would like to know more, or something specific let me know what it is - we can arrange it.
Hits and website visitors are one thing, but times are a changing, and we at NComp@ss are definitely putting more effort into conversions. Conversion are any actions that a user might take on your website that lead to a sale or a ROI (return on investment).
We've given you to tools, please do use them, here's a small set of recommendations for you:
- When the monthly email comes, download the report and save it.
- Always use Adobe Reader to view it (upgrade the latest version)
- In Adobe Reader you can use 'Sticky Notes' on the Report (top right corner).
- Any questions can be appended to the Report, saved and then sent back to us.
- We'll do the rest.
What's the value of this, well we hope you won't have to spend more than 15 minutes on a report each month, it's better if it's done promptly, it's not like paying a cheque.
The real value is what you can learn about your own website - you'll see the trends and patterns and start to recognise what is happening if you do this regularly, you'll start to see what your customers want and rather than you 'telling' customers what's what.
